The Mt Pisgah Band Booster Club would like to welcome all new and returning members back for an exciting 2008-2009 Band Year. The Booster club is a group of parent volunteers, who are responsible for:

• Supporting the Band Director and the Band
• Raising money for the Band
• Promoting Mt Pisgah Band and the Faculty in a positive atmosphere.

We would like to encourage each and every parent to contribute to the booster club. We understand that everyone has very busy lives, so we are thankful for whatever time and energy you can contribute. Our band booster club is only as good as our volunteers. There will be many varied tasks in the year ahead. We are looking for volunteers in every area:

6th Grade Rep, 7th Grade Rep, 8th Grade Rep, Volunteer Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, Finance Chairman, Communication, Decorations and any other talents that our parent group have.

To have a successful year, we will need every parent to get involved. Volunteers for jobs big and small will be greatly appreciated by the booster club and our band kids. We look forward to the awesome band year ahead.

Kroger Card: For each $100.00 you spend on your Kroger Card the band earns $5.00. Once your band member earns their $ 60.00 fund raiser quota from our various different fund raisers, the remainder will be placed in a special account just for your child. Based on the amount you spend you can earn money to buy uniforms and tickets to our band events!

When you purchase the card it has a value of $5.00. You can add up to $500.00 to your card or just the amount you spend in one shopping trip. Once you have a card, take it to ANY Kroger service desk and add the amount you wish. After that, you can swipe the card like a debit card. When it is used up, you simply add to it.

The Mt. Pisgah Band will receive 5% of every purchase, including medications.

There is NO fee or charge for using the card. (You will need to pay $5.00 to cover what it is currently worth.) This is a great way to raise money for the band with no additional cost to the parents.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE A CARD: Send $5.00 (CASH) in an envelope to Dr. Wood labeled with the Student's Name, Section Number and "KROGER CARD". Please include a parent's name and the student's name.

I will return your card as soon as possible to your student. (I will contact you by e-mail or phone to tell you they have it). These cards have specific numbers assigned to our program, so you do not have to tell Kroger who your account is with.
